The Abyss

the abyss in my heart stares at me
with a dark void and echos my questions
which are themselves answers
to the questions i'm unsure of.

my questions sleep with the answers,
stitched by fatigue of repeating
the puzzle i cannot comprehend.

    but the joy is in the journey
    experience is purpose

    i'm so glad you are posting again!
    this makes me very happy - the beauty of your thoughts are their complexity.
    i like your concept here and the idea that it is difficult to assemilate an answer without understanding the question.

      hey thank for the comment. i didn't expect anyone to comment on it so soon. i hope to get back to writing again after a hiatus of nearly two years. and i haven't logged on to AP as often as i wanted to.

      so far so good. i just finished my masters degree and will be starting with the ph.d on august. i have a lot of free time now... so i hope to keep posting.
