Dad let us use the van
Not a flippin chance!
I'm headin out a cruisin
Lookin for romance
Cool hat and sunglasses
Goatee blowin in the breeze
Muscle shirt and sandals
Relaxed and so at ease
I'll crank the stereo loud
Maybe AC/DC
The windows all wide open
So all the ladies can see
That I'm really cool
Drivin all over town
Singing loud to the songs
Amazed how I get down
In my younger years a mustang
Filled with all my friends
Now 50 I cruize in comfort
And I never make amends
When they ask me why a van
I give them a knowing smile
I say climb into the back
You'll see why it's all worthwhile
Author notes
I still love to cruise and crank the music.
Even though its in my van.

Thanks mystic.
I just added the last stanza. It somehow didn't appear. This is a true story.
I have a van and I took my son to the restaraunt and my son just told me to turn the music down. I was embarassing him! I was listening to the Black Eyed Peas. Boom boom bang. It was loud!
I was having a blast.
