putrid rivers
flowing from
within
destroying
everything in it's path
not caring who dies
or who lives
erasing completely
who you once believed
to be; converting
love to hatred
confidence to
fear
knowledge
walking out
through the back door
declaring it isn't called on
anymore
wisdom choosing
to run off
to where it is wanted
for we've created
this destruction
with our minds
by calling out
to pride

CLEVER!
This poem speaks nothing but truth! I feel every word written because of how real it is in today's society. This is piece is effortlessly remarkable and cleverly written, probably one of the most clever poems I've ever read even outside of allpoetry.com. The way you tie these attributes, emotions, and qualities to flow and dominate like a sea or river is piercing to the soul. This is truly a mindblowing, creative, and exquisite poem written by a poetry writer possessing the same qualities.
