Solid Foundations...

Does your life stand on solid ground

Are you locked in tune with your faith

Have you read the book of Genesis

Are you proud that you know the Truth

Scientists scream evolution

They laugh in the face of God

Claim that Creation is only a myth

For their backs they are making a rod

Dont listen to the falsehoods of Man

Put your trust in the words of the book

Dont turn away from His message

Never say noone told you to look

For as sure as this world was created

It will come to a fiery end

All those who resisted the love of their God

Will soon know who was their best friend

  • WOW! AMAZING POEM AND SO TRUE! IT IS SAD HOW MANY PEOPLE THINK OF GOD AS A MYTH BUT WITH PRAYER AND POEMS LIKE THESE MANY PEOPLE CAN OPEN THEIR EYES AND HEARTS AND FIND THE LORD. I CAN SEE THAT YOU HAVE DEEP FAITH FOR GOD KEEP IT UP

  • Cautionary, ominous tone, pointed message

This poem reads like a whisper in the dark, like a voice that wakes you from sleep to ask a pointed question about life. It has an ominous tone that carries the heaviness of its message. Like a warning sign on a road of many curves surrounding steep cliffs, it stands to guide those on its path safely away from certain destruction. The picture is striking, bold, and a perfect accompaniment to the poem.

  • Well written! I'm not sure exactly what I believe. I only have thoughts and ideas about it all. But I always believe in a creator, a higher power, God!
Believing something doesn't make it true, and not believing does not make it not true.

    Dad,

What a wonderful read this one is! This reminds me of a time in school, when the teacher was teaching evolution, and another kid and I stood up, and told the teacher he was full of sh*t! Boy didn't we get into some trouble over that But it was worth it.

    Great job!

    and love

    Nyetta
