Can You Hear Me?

Can you hear me screaming?
It's me!
Inside your head!
Can't you hear me calling?
It's me!
The one you dread!
Can't you hear my whispers?
It's me.
The one you hate.
Can't you hear me coaxing?
It's me.
Who decides your fate.
Can't you hear me teasing?
It's me.
Hating you so.
Can't you hear me mocking?
It's me.
You wish you didn't know.
Can't you hear me ranting?
It's me.
Who knows your sin.
Can't you hear me hissing?
It's me.
Killing you from within.
Can't you hear me?
I'm your disease.
Depression is my name.
Ruining your ease.
Can't you hear me?
Eating away your brain.
You're worthless.
Let me make you insane.
Listen to me!
You're
A
Piece
of
Shit.
Listen, now!
Pull the trigger!
Bitch!

Author notes

I was diagnosed with depression over a year ago.....
It's surprising the terrible things you'll think about yourself sometimes.
And sometimes you can't ignore it!

An honest outlet of feelings are felt here. There is good and bad in all of us in this human form. What seems to be the bad part of us can usually be traced to a fear of some kind. It's part of being human, overcoming fear to allow the love underneath to come to life. We all take what happens in life too seriously. Temporal things have only temporal consequences. All is forgiven.

Intense write. And yes our inner demons are the worse to face and many times the hardest to escape. Thanks for the entry.
