When young we all fall in love ,
thinking we will never have push and shove.
To wake each day to guide each other through,
our lives and be there for one another in all we do.
Love blooms and the fragrace is there to share,
and we find through time there in none who can compare.
It's give and take let understanding take the lead,
and your garden filled with blooms there will be.
Tears often come yet it waters the garden about,
heart felt feelings we don't know just how;
We feel lost and afraid yet speak not to our love,
feeling they would'nt understand but never give up.
For love you see takes work and it is give and take,
we are only human we make mistakes.
But forgiveness and embracing life we learn as we go,
so look at us today our love still grows.
A glow we carry with us for all to see,
we have had good times and bad times healed by our embrace indeed.
To love forever and a day,
this is how we learn how to love and hold on to our faith.
As years pass and we grow older my love,
those memories are the petals of life and they are just enough.
To feel this love grow and the garden blooms still,
within our hearts each day new love spills.
Now that beauty and vitality has drifted away,
and we look upon each other and know love was here to stay.
We sigh and in our memories such a scent fills our soul ,
of our garden of eden we so tended dont you know.

Wow this was very good. My Fiance and I soon it will be our anniversary together for 4 years in August 5h we have had our up's and downs but still going strong. This poem here gave me so much inspiration
