Alas, how could I go on?
Its gone on to long.
Is this the only way, I can be strong.
those fake smiles of mine,
that made it all fine.
Oh, those desires so devine,
I buried them as a false lie
For me they just couldn't apply,
and my fate, i should not deny.
I chose never to love,
as they deserve above,
mayhaps beautiful dove
"Maybe someone will love you?"
Friends assure me, so kind and true,
I told them their reality check was due
i'm not sitting around waiting,
I throw myself into creating,

Me, myself and I.

The title caught my eye. This is emotional, but shows courage and grit mixed with a litte loneliness. I really don't think I would change it.
