Bed pigs in my bed at night
take up room and
steal my covers.
They snort and snore,
groan and grunt,
they grumble at each other.
Finally they settle in,
each one takes it's place.
Two lie at my side, the others by my face.
Sometimes they get between us,
they stretch and push and yawn,
and often someone has to pee,
sometime around dawn.
Still they are so very sweet,
they cuddle up so tight,
and keep us warm and toasty,
all through the long, cold night.
Bed pigs in my bed at night,
what more can I say?
Bed pigs in my bed at night,
I wouldn't have it any other way!

This is comfort poetry of the first order. I picture a large bed like a lifeboat, at sea on an ocean of dreams. Its occupants are warm and toasty and their snoring can be heard for miles

Love it
HA - I have a pug - and I don't let him sleep with me for all these very reasons. He's a spoiled little brat, but he's mine. Not sure I could handle two. Or even three!!! You have captured the temperment exactly. Well done - PeAcE -
This is funny and cute. Great job!

Very adorable and funny, and a pleasure to read about your bed pigs. Best of luck, and thanks for entering.
