Such a perfect fairytale
A boy and girl in lust
Until the mirror shatters
Showering the world in broken trust
The tree of Eden is dead
The apple rotted to its core
Sleeping Beauty's a decaying corpse
A kiss wont do it anymore
The seven dwarfs are broken men
Each with a sorrid past
The little mermaid drowned in tears
When she realised forever doesn't last
There's no such thing as a fairy tale
The genies lamp wont shine
There's no hope of a final kiss
Since you told me you're not mine
There's no screen that reads 'the end'
After a slow dance in the rain
Just the real world and a broken girl
Alone and filled with pain
There's no magic pill to bring it back
Just a bottle of whiskey for the pain
But as I drinks my potion down
My fairytale is real again...

I agree with you.Fairytales don't exist and finding happiness is difficult.I liked the imagery in here and everything was well written. The second stanza is my favorite.

Life is no Disney movie, that's for certain.... I liked the rhyme in the piece, since it added a little levity to an otherwise depressing write. There are a few grammatical/spelling issues, but they're easily fixed. Thanks for posting—hopefully inspiration will prompt you to write a lot more very soon.
