God loves everyone and everyone the same
Oh how sweet and precious is His holy name
Knowing God is everywhere around us is such a joy
To know that He loves every little girl and boy
Say the name of Jesus
I love to know He loves and will always guide us
Everybody's prayer's He always hears it
Dancing and praising him in His holy spirit
God's love for mankind is so very high
That He loves everyone even this inocent little guy
I love Jesus and all that He do
I will always love Him even when everyone else is through

So true so true so very very true! I see why this one is being published. It's very beautiful and well written. You have an awesome writing style and I love the messages of your poems (the ones about God that I read). Very awesome stuff. It really stinks because i decided to read all of the good poems worth of applauding today so I'm using up my all points on applauds
.
God Bless,

This is a very nice poem and a beautiful tribute to our maker; but I agree with some of the above critiques that some of the lines could be cleaned up a little to give them greater power. In poetry you don't want to waste a word, you want all of them to count. innocent is misspelled and there are a few 'extra' words that could be cut, for example "very".
But this is just my opinion. You are the poet and do not need to pay any attention to my critique if you don't agree with it.
I'm glad to see you on this site. I keep praying for more Christians to join and flood this place with the gospel.
God bless,
Absinthe

Drink you away,
God loves gays and lesbians just as much as he loves everybody else. But God cannot abide with sin and the bible states quite clearly that sex outside of marriage is a sin and that homosexuality is an abomination. He loves the person but not the sin.
This explanation will still probably rub you the wrong way if you have your mind already made up. If you are curious as to what and who God is and who he loves, the bible is the only source to find it.
God bless and keep you,
Absinthe

If God loves everyone the same, then why are Gay and Lesbians portrayed as wrong... Just a question. I believe in God yes, but do I follow all christian/catholic/religion any beliefs.. not really because I have my own set of thoughts. But you are a good writer nonetheless.... Religion just rubs me the wrong way (how they dont judge anyone, yet they give me dirty looks as I walk in with torn jeans)

shhhhhhh! you ruined it...

wow, its treuely amazing that you can feel this strongly towards God and your religion. I'm happy for you. I'm a practising catholic myself, and try to be a good person, but I'm not as wise as I should be about my faith as it seems you are. Nice poem and keep writing.

I don't usuaually like religious poetry but this is pretty good. On some level I wish I had your faith, but I can't bring myself to worship a God such as the Christian one. Believe in, yes, but not worship.
-
reminds me of my old old old old old stuff...
its good that you have such faith -
A beautiful message. Although there are some lines that could be cleaned up a bit and better words choices, the message holds its own power. An uplifting and enjoyable piece. Thanks for sharing

The first line is a bit too repetitious with the word 'everyone'. I feel just having it be 'God loves everyone the same' is actually better than what you have.
In this line: 'Oh how sweet and precious is his holy name' since it is obvious you're a Christian in the line 'his holy' 'his' would be 'His'
Same in this line: 'To know that he loves every little girl and boy' 'he' would be 'He'
Same in this line: 'love to know he loves and will always guide us' 'he' would be 'He'. I feel the beginning 'love to know he loves' is incomplete. Just doesn't sit well with me.
In this line: 'Everybody's prayer's he always hears it' 'prayer's' I believe would just be 'prayers' and 'he' again would be 'He'.
In this line: 'Dancing and praising him in his holy spirit' 'him' and 'his' would be 'Him' and 'His'
In this line: 'That he loves everyone even this inocent little guy' 'he' would be 'He' and 'inocent' would be 'innocent'
In this line: 'I love Jesus and all that he do' 'he' would be 'He' but 'do' is a forced rhyme and thus needs to be taken out try writing the line 'I love Jesus and He knows it's true'
In thsi line: 'I will always love him even when everyone else is through' 'him' would be 'Him' and 'through' doesn't work either, it as well is forced, but, the sentiment and meaning is there so I won't give a suggestion on how to fix it.
