Me

I find joy in my children
Full of bright tomorrows
I wish them happy days
devoid of sudden sorrows
I am content within me
But still I have my dreams
Where others see a mother
I am not what she seems
I walk the square in Venice
I paint in ancient Rome
I do the chores and cleaning
My kingdom is my home
And those who truely know me
Can see inside my heart
They'll be my friends for ever
Their love will never part.
