The Living or the Dead

those words you never said
i know i could not stomach
and when you left me for dead
a ghost took my heart to drum it

though i had been buried
my body still yearned for you
my pregnant mind still carried
thoughts of lust that only grew

the day that lust was born
was a day i'll not forget
it was the day that i was torn
between the living and the dead

the living seem to have it all
but it's just a painted hell
where lovers choose to give themselves
and never live to tell

the dead deserve the envy
they have no hearts to tear to shreds
they exist without those feelings
and don't worry their pretty heads

well i guess it's time to choose
so eeny meeny miney mo
what have i got to lose?
just my feelings or my soul

couldn't sleep. this was born

I know, I don't know how saw you on here either, but I was mindlessly browsing the site because I had just worked a double waitressing shift and got home and couldn't sleep for some reason, so I was restless.
    See ya around.
