Apologies and truth can make things right
But fences can't be mended overnight
And every word must find a matching deed
If he's in love he's waiting for a seed
That he can see sprout upward to the light
His heart is only waiting for the sight
That proves there isn't any need to bleed
Be open and admit when you go wrong
Allow him time to see you are sincere
Be well aware that he'll be hurting too
Enduring times like these will make you strong
Inside your mind you know the answers clear
He won't need words if he's in love with you
