If You Don't Ask, Chances Are You Won't Receive

with an anxious silence
I watch as you carve your world
from scraps of clay

molding astounding beauty
from something so mundane
I always knew you were good
with your hands but
I never knew you were
THIS good

you have a gift
the hands of a true artiste

damn baby...
would you
save some of that for me?
please?!?

  • One of my all time favorite movies. I can watch it over and over and it always makes me cry. The clay scene is so sexy. Your poem brings in right to the forefront of my mind. I love your last line. This was really good.
