Beyond the rain

I sit on this pavement
Watching the rain purify it black

I notice the clouds
Of orange and Grey
Caressing the dimming sky
As if waving goodbye

As the sun slowly sets
It paints the tree tops orange

The rain falling is all you can hear
as if it quiets the world
As if it wants to be herd

Drop by drop all the colors grow brighter
As the rain replenishes us all
Never will you see such shades of
Green, orange, pink or even yellow
As if nature is highlighting its attributes

But as the moon slowly rises
And the clouds go dark
The sky lights up with billions of little eyes
Watching over you
Guiding you
Mesmerizing you
Making you forget you worries
Just so you take notice
To the wonders of nature
To the beauty of this earth
And to the beauty within

Author notes

Umm i was playing basketball after it rained and i slipped on a wet spot on my drive way and fell pretty hard and just then the rain slowly started to fall and i look up and see what you read and during all this i never once felt pain or herd any other sounds other then the rain. You never really notice whats around you but when you do its amazing!
