A love lost

Missing image
She can’t seem to get him out of her head
her heart still beats strong for him
she lost his love when he went away
but she knows she will see him again one day.

The connection between their young hearts
was so strong and full of hope
but the world stepped in and broke
there beauty like a fragile piece of porcelain

She keeps the fire burning inside
of the love they once shared
it is all that she has left of him
and that no one can take away

    omg, this is a beauteous poem. good write. i could feel her pain of loss and yet also the hope of knowing she will see him again. great write. i can relate in a sorta way.

    This is lovely, and even though it's about the girl in the picture somehow I feel that it's about everybody. Such things happen to many girls... Wonderful job, this was just lovely.
