Pixie (There's Someone)

There once was a pixie
She was much more than she seemed
She'd rob you of your nightmares
And give you the sweetest dreams

She'd sprinkle you with happiness
Whenever a tear would fall
When doubt surfaced in your life
You would know on whom to call

When you needed a hand
She'd lend her hand to you
And if you needed more than one
She'd lend the other one too

She'd send a legion of butterflies
Of rivers and of brooks
Of beautiful flowers
And sunlit skies
All you ever wanted
But for which you never looked

She'd have hugs set aside for you
For when you felt like no one cared
She'd assure you that it's not true
There's always someone there

That there's...

Someone thinking of you right now
And sending you their love...

Someone wishing they could be there with you
As they look at the stars above...

Someone listening
When you need an ear
An encouraging word or two...

Someone out there in this world
Who honestly and truly loves you...

    Very well strung...
the rhyme glides along and I like the subject matter. Literal or not, it applies to caring and
that is something we all need to have more of
in our lives. I realize this is older stuff and want
to ask if you are planning minor revisions of any
sort such as dispersing with the all caps beginning each line? Blue

This is a very interesting poem. The little person you described reminded me much more of what was considered a woodland fairy in tales, but the fun thing about fantisy poems is that you don't have to follow the rules.
A very light and cheerful poem. In fact, pardon me for commenting negitivly, but I believe strongly in using the background to inhance the poem, and I think I would have used a more cheerful background for such a beautiful poem. However, with the butterflies, I understand why you chose this one.
    Well written, and God Bless
