Sitting in my room
Complete darkness surrounds
Not a sound is heard
No one around
Everyone in their beds
Sound asleep and dreaming
Not a sound can be heard
But still someone is screaming
What is silence?
Can you define it for me?
I don't think it can be defined
it goes far beyond the words in a dictionary
Silence is a complete and total
Absence of sound...
But if you think about it
Was there ever a time
When you heard absolutely nothing?
Even nothing is something
Isn't it??
ISN'T IT??
Even if there was a time...
Which I doubt could ever be true
Was there ever a time...
When your brain was silent too?
If there was then tell me your secret
I'd really like to know
AND....
If you find the remote control
Could you pass it to me?
Cause I'd really like to mute
My thoughts and random idiosyncrasies
WHEN....
