The middle of April and it feels like August
30 degrees celsius is what the thermometer reads
We bid hello to an early summer
At least that's how it seems
Time to put away the sweaters
Reserved for winter's chill
Guess what? it was only two weeks ago,
When I saw some snow upon that hill
Now the grass is green as ever
No snow here in sight
I'm actually sitting here
Wearing shorts and a tanktop
"In April?!", you say, "That can't be right!!"
Record-breaking heat
I forgot how good it felt
Warm winds and sunshine
Makes winter's coldness melt
Lifts spirits way up high...
Cause it's been so darn long
But today we heard an early verse
Of the well~known summer's song
