Behind locked doors

I'm truly scared

of losing you

how could i dare

to leave here

just you at home

i left you there

all alone

My bloodshot eyes

stare at the wall

you'r pictures there

it makes me fall

and wanna die

right here tonight

i just wish

you'd come back home

I can see now

why you left

through all the pain

whats there's unkept

my hurtin heart

is left to roam

still wishin you

would come back home

I talked to you

on the telephone

tears held back

i'm all alone

and you're not here

to hold me now

and i'm still stuck here

in this old town

The whiskeys gone

i drank it all

i thought it'd help

for the long haul

and so i've learned

i don't need the booze

the only thing

i need is you

I can see now

why you left

through all the pain

whats there's unkept

my hurtin heart

is left to roam

still wishin you

would come back home

i was drinkin a coors and writng in candle light, but what do you thnk about it?

  • Welcome to AllPoetry!

This is a touching write; I love your rhyme and flow.
On a poetical note, your "I"s should always be capitalised

I hope that you come to enjoy this site as much as I do, and if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask me!!

Best of luck with your future writing,

  • Aww =[
    That's really sad

I'm sorry to hear what happened, it does hurt when the one you love walks away.

Two bits of constructive criticism --

    "My bloodshot eyes
    stare at the wall
    you'r pictures there"

    -- you'r needs an e =]

Also a little punctuation wouldn't go astray ^^

    good raw poem though ^^
    Keep penning =]
