She’s standing, waiting by the door
For her loved one, gone off to war
But sadly, he’ll return no more
It was such a long time ago
Together, their love did grow
Before he died and became a hero
Again, sadness sits upon her face
As memories fall on their old place
Stood empty, in ruins, a disgrace
