It is one problem alive like the beats of hearts
Within one and a million more
It is a user error I make over and over
Like dragging fingertips down across the board
As if silently trying to destroy
What I never wanted to touched
I am just a machine
A machine that never wanted to see you cry
Those things from the corner of your eyes
Nor did I want to see the face you wore twist
With pain and surmise when you concluded
I was just something there to torment
To lie
I fall into the broken ballerina chain reaction
The toe, the knee, the breaking of a back
Hanging there by strings riddled in despair
I’ll never open both eyes again
So I can dismiss my actions as some illusion
As half truths
We were soul mates brought forward
From the same wound, the same cut that bleeds
Like a worm cut in two
With suns and moons we grew ourselves away
Now we are living as strangers
With the same face
