I thought of you when the sun set today
Walking home mesmerized by its beauty
Watching these greens grow without a care
And I thought of you in the moonshine
When all else was silent and glowing
Reminding me of many nights before
When it was easier to laugh
At a folly than recalling a bittersweet mem’ry
I thought of you even when I know Life’s unfair
And all you’ve got is a heart to mend
I thought of you and all I see is traces of you
In many details of my life, sinking deep into my soul
Nostalgia overcoming me with fear

Brief - yet it contains good emotion.
Definitely made me feel what you were trying to put through.
Great job and thank you for entering! <3 -
good
It is brief and to the point, filled with much anguish and love. Very effective.
