I have fallen from the sky
My wings have been pulled off
My kind hearted self has failed
I'm lost and alone
Looking up above
No one notices the fallen angel
My heart breaks
Tears are shed
A life goes unnoticed
Sitting on a rock
I hug myself and cry
A gentleman walks by
He stops and gazes
At the fallen angel
He moves to comfort me
I tell of how
I was once happy
How my angel wings were plucked
And my dreams shattered
He lifts my chin, smiles, and wipes my tears
"Fallen angel you are...no more!"
I smile and look to the ground
He gathers me into his arms and takes my hand
He begins to show me happiness
And the broken heart is soon mended
Though I never got my angel wings back
Forever I remain...
