I gaze into the dark sky each night to find that brightest star.
It's always waiting for me, so close, yet so far.
I've wished upon this special star, my whole life it seems.
I've closed my eyes and made a wish of hope, and dreams.
Then, one day, I got my wish, when I finally ran back into you.
You are that someone special who's made my dreams come true.
So now, whenever we're apart I find that same bright star;
and it makes me feel so close to you.. no matter where you are.
