There are so many things in life
That you say I have yet to learn,
Before my time comes to an end
And back to heaven I return.
Yet I can't really understand
How you can feel so justified,
Telling me your "words of wisdom"
When your actions don't coincide.
You say I need to learn some trust
Though everthing you said was lies.
You just want me to believe you
But I know better, I got wise.
You promised me all you wanted
Was a better life just for me.
But you left me here all alone
And expected I'd be happy.
I may be young, slightly naive
But I know that this much is true,
I want my life to be well spent,
I want to share it all with you.
Author notes
There isn't really too much to say about this poem except that I was trying to organize thoughts about my life in a poem. I'm hoping to maybe edit it a little so critiques are welcome. I hope you like it.

Good work with this, I liked the rhyme although there is always room for improvement. Easy to follow and relate with, good job.
Thank you for your entry.
