every time I close my eyes
you're the first thing that I see
I miss your laugh, your touch, your kiss
I miss your everything
I miss ice cream and late nights
car rides and play fights
as I wonder through the memories
some are faded, old and worn
others crystal clear like a pool of eternity
but the thing I have come to see
is all I can seem to remember is you
your feel, your voice, your eyes
the way you make everything else fade away
