Last night
I cried

The tears flowing like a ripple
In calm waters with no stone
No reason

The tears
Each one like a friend
A familiar face in a familiar place
But so far away

Tears so many
Countless
Like the countless smiles I see
From a  crowd of loved ones
With no love

The tears as empty as the world around me
Even the closest have left
So alone
So very alone

I see the pool before me
All my pain finally
Lain out to see
I cannot look away or
Fake another laugh

These tears
Mine alone
My world and
My fault
And I am so ashamed
So very ashamed

    epeciall the last stanza
    These tears
    Mine alone
    My world and
    My fault
    And I am so ashamed
