Scattered all over the floor,
are the pieces of your heart.
Stories within each.
All fallen apart.
One that fell out years ago,
your abusive mother.
One that fell out days ago,
your cheating other.
With each loss it's harder.
More pieces dissolved.
For now though,
this puzzle remains unsolved.
