A library surprise

Dark hair, short yet simply styled. she has a bite to her.  unknowingly a poem is being wrote for the inspiration she spoke without a sound .Its burning my fingers as I type this out.

Sitting in the library I am, she probably Doesn't even know she has inspired me. I was blown away by this unexpected vist from someone to write about .

twisting my feet , praying to continue to write and not freak.  I am writing this as she sits across from me, this is intense.  The face is tanly colored, very simple.

This is bizzare to me. I am writing about a person who I  don't even have a clue about.
What shall I title this interesting poem , about a girl who just happened to walk into the library.  She seems young, yet there is maturity in her eyes, knowing without speaking, there it lies.
Familiar she seems , I don't know why.

This unfamiliar Girl, wearing silver rings upon her hand , clicks away at her screen . Do you see what can't be seen? Her lips are curved on her face, Eyes stareing blankly into cyperspace.

Should Speech erupt from my mouth ,what to say and How ? Questions building deeply inside the mind, have I seen her another time? She glances without smiles, not upset ... just there.

Still this person intices my hands to type out words , I don't know anything  about.
This taging of eyes across the way, Its like playing a soundless game of reading each others thoughts or trying too. my fingers are chilled , yet still  they write...

To gather my thoughts is not possiable it seems.  She is pushing my words onto the page.
Goddess, normal and filled with faults  I am sure, yet still I am captured by this strange young woman.

I think this is where I will leave this strange work of art.  Just simply  unknowing.

Please tell me what you think

  • I haven't read your work in a little while and I'm glad I did. Your poetry has really progressed, sparks of brillance within the rhyme. The first stanza especially, unknowingly a poem is being wrote for the inspiration she spoke without a sound. Nice work.

I enjoyed this write very much! I love the way something so usually ordinary inspired you. Just a random person walking into the library eh? It kind of leaves the reader wondering if you have seen her since? Anyway she inspired one great write!
