If my eyes should dim
and science and prayer
can't save my sight,
let my last image be
the soft morning light
when dew drenched boughs
sway and ignite
an image that burns
forever bright,
to dispel the shrouds
of eternal night.

It's plain to see why this exquisite piece placed. And with it's message I too must agree. What a lasting imprint on the mind.
