Simply Amazing

What can I say

about such a great night as this?
Dinner and a movie

followed by such an amazing kiss.


Then one kiss led to another

until when we were done.
All we had to do for an encore

is to watch the rising sun.

 

The smell of your perfume,

and the silky feel of your hair.

Oh and the passion in your lips

makes me wish I was still there.

 

All night long I was

totally lost in your eyes

consumed by your beauty

wrapped in such a timid disguise.

 

It was a night filled with smiles

and moments to make my heart sing.

What do you say about a night like this?

Baby it was simply amazing!

    I think you should get rid of the picture. The ending seemed kind of off, but I could still feel the emotion throughout the poem. It was a sweet poem.
    "The smell of your perfume,
    and the silky feel of your hair.
    Oh and the passion in your lips
    makes me wish I was still there."
    I liked the imagery in that stanza.
    You did a good job.

    I'd ditch the picture. The poem was alright.. kind of a cliche word choice throughout the whole thing. It's from the heart, but it's not gold.

    I like the subtle rhyming you've put in this. It really brings together the whole poem, especially the first stanza:

    "What can I say
    about such a great night as this?
    Dinner and a movie
    followed by such an amazing kiss."
