My Valley

a warbler
up in the misty hills
a lovely morning

wet with dew
eager to welcome the sun
morning glories

soft babble
by the thicket of bamboo
a mountain stream

beneath the trees
a field of colourful flowers
after the rain

a cicada chirps
from the shadowy trees
dusk

an owl's hoot
amidst the rustling of trees
in the moonlight

Beautiful Serial Haiku poem with delightful imagery of nature. Each verse is great by itself and they all compliment each other and work well together and flow nicely from one to the next to create a great poem. Thanks for entering.
