A blue jay
hops from branch to branch
snowing blossoms.
hops from branch to branch
snowing blossoms.

the use of 'snow' bothered me since blossoms are such a spring thing.
perhaps you meant it was picking off the blossoms? why? what does that mean? -
It's perfect the way it is..don't turn it into a Zappa song. (Watch out where the huskies go...)

This is a beautiful haiku, full of bright, cheerful imagery.
I really like it.
You might want to add a bit more detail to the last line,
for example:
"snowing peach blossoms"

The imagery this presents is wonderful and very apt for this time of year. I enjoyed this,
Katie

Hi there1
i love the wonderful juxtaposition of images in this lovely haiku. There is a good, clean break at the end of the second line and this sets up the aha moment in the final image.
nice work!
best wishes in the contest,
Myron

BEAUTIFUL!!!
I have in my mind this picture of a blue jay hopping among the branches as blossoms are falling to the ground underneath!

A lovely image to behold. Very nice, best wishes to you in the contest!

I love that time of year when the blossoms fall like snow - luckily I live in Atlanta and they have a dogwood festival every year - it's so delicate and pretty when the petals rain!
Lovely haiku.

-
This is lovely -- I can see the bright blue jay and the sweet falling of blossoms.
