Sweet Angel Grace

In my lonely world, dark and dim
I happened to see a smile upon a lovely face
My soul rejoiced to the sound of her hymn
How sweet the sound of Angel Grace

I heard the tearful words of her soul
Music soft and sad lilting in my ear
Giving hope to a wretched troll
How precious did her Grace appear

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
Her poetic words written for us to see
To make lonely hearts abound
Turning despair into cheerful glee

Compassion rests in her tender eyes
Her soulful song sings to the wise
