Curse The Sun!
Methodically…
I walk thru the world of the sun
With the stinging light
Permeating
Penetrating
Draining
Painful
Draining
Oh Holy Hell!
Daytime is no fun!
And all the people I talk to here
Are incredibly far
Although physically near
And the blazing sun
That they hold so dear
Can’t hide the fact
That they live in fear…
As time winds on I’m-
Trudging
Slowly
Trudging
And what the fuck?
The suns not budging
And judging
By my sundial
This day may never end
And these people make me laugh
As does this world
They call their friend
All the daytime crap that I go through
With the mundane stuff
And the bullshit too
A Ridiculous Play
Only I can view
And laugh is the only thing left to do
And the sun keeps-
Blazing
Hurting
Burning
As this earth is slowly turning
And I’m Yearning
For the Darkness
Which is sure to come again
This is my final consolation
Till the Blazing Brightness Ends
We all need it of course
But still
Just for fun-
On a day like today which may never be done
I laugh
And I smile
And I curse the sun!
What did you think

Excellent!
I love how you write in a somewhat older style and with the old technology. I prefer to write with such a style as well, for it gives the poem more elouquence. This poem is beautiful. And yes, I cana relate, for I have a dislike for the sun myself.

Thanks, I'm proud of that one. I meant it to sound angry but a little funny at the same time...
