Ripples.. (Dreaming Green)

Missing image

'twas a tranquil scene, that was seen
With the waters reflecting the green
And busy whispers between the trees
Of tales from the past and all thats been....
A mild fragrance carried in the breeze.

She lay on grass, dreams glistening her eye
Gazing at the clouds draw patterns on the sky,
Ripples on lakes, the dew from leaves would spill,
The only other sound is the west wind's sigh..
She smiles, as the world seems fine and all stays still.....

Very nice futher expression works well with the picture. Thanks for sharing.
    I particulary like -
"And busy whispers between the trees
Of tales from the past and all thats been...."
speaks to me of them remaining after we pass thru.

  • this is so beautiful! it paints such beautiful images in my mind.

i don't want it to end; does it have to be so short?

much luck for the contest though.
