When I first saw you there
standing in my door
staring at the floor
I laughed
You looked so boyish
and cute
and when you first took my hand
I felt a wave surge through my body
I never wanted to leave your side
You have always had me paralyzed
I love talking with you
And I know you still love me too
But our love could never be
I moved away from you
and you drifted away from me
It still hurts
You left a hole in my heart
No one can fill
I've tried forgetting
I've tried to move on
But its so hard
When I still miss being in your arms
Our love was and always will be true
And my heart will always be with you.

This is a great description of a first love. And you will never have another love quite like it. Great poem. -
