Forgive the many words
Unspoken
But fragrant, true
You know it, love
Shall we find our mountain souls
Elsewhere
In heights and valleys nigh
And I shant forget you
But I cannot remember
Do not attempt this
My heart lies in distant lands
Thou hast loved too much
I, nay, not enough
Yet we both find solace
In sunless lands
And shadow's darkened keep
Tis pleasant there
Cold and devoid of feeling
I shall help thee with thy light
If thou canst counter
darker terror
Of all forgotten time
Let prevail the devastation
Bliss nor merriment
And pray that fortune's favor
Finds us all
Please tell me what you think

Vivid.
Like seeing lands and places all built of emotions.
This reminds me of a metaphor I once used:
"I shall help thee with thy light
If thou canst counter
darker terror
Of all forgotten time"
The main idea of what I said is, light and darkness cannot exist without one another. To light a candle is to create a shadow. Neither the light nor shadow could exist without one another, for the light only shows that void of, and the shadow can only become darkness.
Forgive that m'lady. A bit long winded but I love the thought and imagery your poem hast brought.
I do wish you luck,
But remember,
The only one fortune favors are those that will their own fortune into existence.
As always, well done.
