Four days to go, just wanting this to end
Three days to go, just getting more exciting as these days go by
Two days to go, more excitement, less work, time to get pretty for the dance
1 more day to go, almost there, wondering whats taking this long
Finally the day is here! (May 29th 2009)
Promotion night of 8th grade.
Wearing the red gown, walking down the isle. Trying to keep that smile on your face, and not to have that look of terror plastered there.
Hearing your name being called, walking down the stairs
Holding that diploma, not believing its really yours

My 8th grade promotion is this Friday! I'm so excited! Then there is a formal dance for us tonight!!!
