excellent presentation
Your words are very true Susan. I believe we all have angels around us, and they help us when we are in need. Your words are lovely, and the picture is just beautiful.
I collect angel figurines. I started collecting them after my mom passed away. They are so beautiful.
Love and Huggs,
Jeannette

Have you posted this picture with another poem susan? I recognize it from somewhere, and I'm pretty sure it's from something I've read by you...hmm...I dunno
Anyway, pretty poem too susan
I love haikus, because to write one, you have to compress sometimes a lot of thought into 17 syllables...and this one was very good
I loved how you described the angel just as "invisible wings" almost like you and your guardian angel are one and the same, and her wings almost belong to you...that's what I got from it anyway
me liked susan
thanks for writing it

This is very beautiful and touching.
The picture you have chosen is wonderful...
I am so glad that you wrote this. I am a firm beleiver in Angels. I know that it may seem weird or something but in my heart I know that my mother is my angel. Since she died two years ago, I have felt this huge warmth around me and my faith in God has gotten stronger and I know that my mother is the reason. Who know, maybe it is just in my head, but I like the idea of my mother still watching over me even though she is with Jesus now..
Anyways, You wrote this with well chosen words....
Awesome work

Very beautiful and so true- I deeply believe in angels and can only say I love it. It touches

I have seen my grandmother after death where she sat and talked to me when I was very young about my future. She said the path I was on at the time would lead to destruction and heartache, so I changed.
I truly feel that she was watching over me and protecting me from the harm I was going to do to myself if not others in my future.
exceptional write, yet again

WOW! You have prooved me wrong. I could never understand the point of haikus because I';ve never read any that could make three lines, 17 syllables, into anything special. This poem is truly special. I love it!

This is so beautiful and poignant, Susan. I adored it. Sometimes so much can be said with so few words and THATS the essence of poetry. You have managed that here.

very good
a disguised blessing
What a brilliant way to put it. So often we seem to manage and make things do, thinking of no outside intervention. And yet here you are putting right to the world.
A very good poem. Hope they don't mind spoiling the secret.

Thank you for your the invitation to come by and check out your recent posts. I don’t do Haiku or Senryu ,or any other “ooo” but i love reading ‘em. I love the image created by the simplicity of this. The ‘disguised” reference reminds of the Bible ref. "Let love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained strangers unawares." The reference is to the angels that appeared at the tent of Abraham and Sarah and told them that they would bear God's promises. Had Abraham and Sarah turned away the strangers, God's promises to Sarah to bear a child in her old age and for the Hebrews to be a light to the nations would have been thwarted. The message would never have been received. But hospitality was offered to the strangers, the message proclaimed and centuries later another story of healing and hospitality dawned upon the human consciousness. (sorry for rambling but as i understand Haiku, i am ‘sposed to get more out of them than are packed into them). It is a lovely poem Brilliant, simply brilliant. Blessings to and best wishes, ~richard

Susan, this is a beautiful haiku, and those few words have great meaning. I'm so glad to hear you are back with your hubby, and I hope that doesn't change. I am, however, praying for your renewed health, and just know that I love you dearly, and I'm always around, somewhere. Got my own world of trauma I'm dealing with and it's very, very hard. My best to you, friend.--Kel

Excellent write!
Great job with this Susan! Have you ever looked back on certain circumstances and wondered how you ever made it out of them alive? I believe it's by the grace of God we've gotten through those times and with the help of our guardian angels. I truly love this poem and the picture is just beautiful! It's very inspiring and so much was said in just three lines.

We never know how our angels will appear. They are God's handmaidens, and menservants
here to care for His children. This is very beautiful, the angel image and the poem compliment one another. Just beautiful! I hope all is well with you. I am blessed and doing well.
Much Love,
Renee

Heavenly!!
Beautiful Sis.
This is a sweet one. Short and sweet...but so meaningful...makes me almost want to reach out and touch her, she seems to be happy...I always wonder why, if you're dead what's to be happy about? LOL
This kinda makes me feel like I'm protected...someone watching over me...I don't know if I believe in angels or not, I don't know what to believe anymore..."I want to believe", but angels sound so heavenly and peaceful...if they do exist I hope I have a guardian angel as pretty and nice as this one.
Love ya! ~Sheryl~
