[Through her eyes]
She is nothing. Like shadows and rainbows and paper dolls she is lacking in that all important substance needed to make her stand out. The sky is lit with brighter stars and the fields are filled with prettier flowers. There is too little magnetism disolved in her blood and too little gravity captured in her eyes, she will always repel and never attract and there is no way out of the labyrinth she has lost herself in.
[Through their eyes]
She is more than the girl with the chocolate hair and the alabaster skin, the little-girl limbs and the esoteric emotions. She is the girl so thin that one small wind could blow her away, who could dance between raindrops and scream with her eyes. She is the girl who speaks beautiful words and moves in beautiful ways, reminiscent of poetry. She is the girl everyone admires but few approach, afraid that if they touch her she will break, like a glass sculpture, into one thousand shards of dislocated light.
[Through our eyes]
She is everything. She is the reason for snow-coloured butterflies in August and blood-coloured berries in December and she breaks our hearts when her own liquified rose-petal blood falls to the floor, all too often and not always by accident. But there is glitter running through her veins and her heart is made of something more than cardiac muscle. She is our incarnated star and though she's broken, she blinds us with her incandescent light. Beacause after all,
there has to be cracks for the light to get through.
