Dance With Demons

Dancing with demons
Twirling around
Music pumping
The beat is vibrating against the wall
You take her hand
Look into her eyes,
If even for a second
And you surrender to her powers
Moonlight shines
You dance underneath the moon
Dancing with a beautiful demon
Her beauty intoxicating
She's your wine
Your drug
You walk on a tight rope
You do this dance
Her hand grasped in your palm
Pull her a little closer
You take the lead
Don't want to stop this dance
Won't it last forever?
The music pulses
And as soon as this dance is over she'll disappear again
So you close your eyes
And you just dance
You open your eyes and try to memorize her every feature
Put you arms around her neck
Rest your head on her shoulder  
And you dance under the stars
Don't want the sun to rise, for this dance will end
You hold her hand
You take it to your lips and kiss it delicately
If only this would last forever
Soon enough it will be only a memory
But for now your content in her arms
