A Secret

There are words unsaid but felt
A desire burning deep within
Something your glamour can never hide
A love between the realms, a sin

To resist one another in public view
To give in behind private doors
A secret kept between us two
One that kills silently to the core

A severe consequence, death
If any was to come to know
Of the love and desires felt
As it’s becoming harder not to show

What if the secret was discovered?
How would one explain?
That what is forbidden between realms
Has more pleasure than does pain.

To give reason to why this sin
To explain what is in one’s heart
How do you go about that?
When the rest want the realms apart

A secret to keep,
To give in
A consequence well worth
To commit this sin
