I too am glad you are writing again. I did not check the promp you used, but the poem reads well without me knowing anyway
. I like the plain spoken message but also the musical quality it has. It has sort of an on again off again rhythm that enhances the reading of it. I could see it eventually turning songward 
It is easy to relate to the message, I think most of us have been there done that in some form or fashion. Glad I clicked -
