Only moments ago ~
~I felt your body formed to mine,
in that misty moment
between dream and today.
Feeling your secrets spoken in heartbeats,
responding in warm incandesant blush.
Destiny was unlaced ~
~entwining through us.
You came back…touched for a blink and a breath
my soul was bare, and beheld
leaving a single bright shine, to treasure
'til moments forever.

I was steered to this poem by my "I might enjoy" list. I still have no idea how that list gets decided but on this occassion it was right.... I did enjoy it. Soft, open hearted, intimate thoughts and feelings transferred to written words with eloquence.... not 'mushy'.

Glad you shared it, glad I read it.

What lies between dreams and reality for in that very private space where we can be whatever it is that we wish there is room for the spirit to dance and caress the unknown.
I truly enjoyed this poem as it was delicate and a very powerful message of sincerity and heartfelt desire it did convey.
I like it, I like it so!

In that misty moment between dreams and today - the forever wish for moments are real. As always, the fantasy is perfect, for what else can it ever be but perfect?
But then therein is the reality of it -
A lovely write. ~Pamela

Passion, romance and love. We must keep them in a even balance and treasure the words of a gifted poet.

The grand piano ate me before I could speak to Aleta's beauty. And yours- you did write it. The poem, that thing; yeah, that.
How is another fun mystery going to hurt a one of us?
