A blank sheet of paper, a pen in my hand
Water in my eyes, will I see you again?
As thoughts spin in my head,
Must put them down
And evoke my love right here right now
You really wanna know how I feel?
I close my eyes and it starts to be revealed.
I remember our first kiss so soft so strong.
That lasted for a minute but seemed so long.
As I kept telling myself no it can’t be true,
I had to face it, I was falling in love with you.
It continued to grow stronger with each passing day.
I began to feel nauseated my mind begins to sway
I scream out of frustration I want this to end,
With you in my arms smiling again.
A million years it would take for me to explain
My feelings of love and about life’s pain
Yet I have just a minute, a moment to spare,
To explore my thoughts of you, emotions so rare.
So to you my love I simply say,
Try to live your life from day to day
There’s a miracle called love, that lies within our hearts.
No reason why it happens but with us it chose to start.
We’re very different but so much the same
The trust you’ve lost I’ll help to regain.
I opened my eyes and looked around
Ink on paper what my thoughts had written down.
Here’s my letter of things you never knew
Signed sealed with love addressed to you.

You have a special gift for exploring the feelings that a person goes through when either falling in love, or are in love. I love how you manage to capture your feelings with the clarity of a photograph, and avoid all the cliches at the same time. "our first kiss, so soft ,so strong" is a powerful image, and I liked the way you continued throughout the poem to show 'both sides of the coin'-the agony and the ecstasy. Well written
