I close my eyes and there I am,
Lost in this world again.
White surrounds me, there's nothing there,
Staring through the empty air.
My heart stops beating, I'm all alone,
My lungs collaspe, my breathing is slow.
The white that lies ahead of me,
Fades to black, it's all I can see.
I'm totally lost, with an empty feeling,
I fall to the ground, my head is reeling.
I close my eyes, wishing it to go away,
But then they open, and see the darkness at bay.
I don't understand what's wrong with me,
Where am I? I cannot see.
My breathing is slow, hardly there,
My heart is stopping, without any air.
The darkness fades, it's becoming bright,
The black is once again white.
My breathing is easy, my heart beating,
I realize now, I was only sleeping.

This poem is cute. Although some of the rhymes seem really cliche. I like it though, especially for a poem that rhymes.

Very nice, little one! Very nice indeed. I really liked the sense of panic you build up, only to reveal that there was no danger. One typo though, 2nd line 2nd stanza it should be spelled "collapse"
