In my deepest, Darkest times
When my head was spinning
with thoughts i could'nt shift
Was it you, who kept me going?
[I was lost, And you found me
I was blind and you helped me see
I was broken and you healed me]
Did i not recognise your help?
i was lost; behond all human help
I was withdrawn, knowone knew,
quite how to help, just left me be
[I was lost, And you found me
I was blind and you helped me see
I was broken and you healed me]
It got so bad, I tried to run from;
the problems; tried to stop the pain
moved away from everything i knew
wanted to start a fresh, live again
[I was lost, And you found me
I was blind and you helped me see
I was broken and you healed me]
Moving did'nt help; Or did it?
through moving I found the one thing
that banished my depression
moved the devil further away
[I was lost, And you found me
I was blind and you helped me see
I was broken and you healed me]
That is you Lord, whom has tried
many times before to save me
but alas; I didnt want to accept you
or that you ever existed
[I was lost, And you found me
I was blind and you helped me see
I was broken and you healed me]

I like the chorus. It would make a great song. Your poem really spoke to my heart because it reminded me of when "I was lost beyond all human help." Be Blessed!
