You my dear friend, are the only one I know that can use the word 'sometimes' in a haiku and make it work!
I'm impressed with your moon, beautiful sight

Hello... LOLL I took a big chance on that word but it brings out the image the closest to what I felt. "the moon sometimes"... It seems like the longest moment in history but the actual awakening to the situation was the real moment. Thanks a bunch for your kind comment and for coming by to visit. I appreciate it.

I like this Don, a very known picture. But quit a modern touch in your style. Still simple and clear as it should be.

    Oh! Love this one.
It's even coming out of the chimney.
Sometimes it's behind this or that sometimes it's out in the open. I can see this vividly Don.
I even think it works not to have the dash because it assists the words in their meander.
    Great ku!

Hi Paul... thanks a bunch! I always wrestle with the em-dash etc. But, whenever I can (these days) I try to let the syntax alone create the feel of a line break. Thanks for the great comment.

You seem to favour the moon like I favour graveyards. Very nice capture. Kudos!

Thanks so much! I love the moon... and the moon kigo is autumn, btw. Unless the moon is specified "hunter's moon" etc. it is always referencing autumn. During autumn, leaves drop from some trees and not others... so the moonlight will come through at varying and different points. Fun stuff!

Thanks PK... that's quite a compliment. If I can just remind someone of Basho I'm more than double happy!!! Take care,
